Every year, Viaro Energy works closely with local charities to support their activities and give back to local communities. So far this year, we are proud to have supported over ten different organisations working to change people’s lives for the better in Scotland and the rest of the UK.

This year, projects include community initiatives helping young people navigate early adulthood and develop essential life skills, organisations providing support to families with terminally ill children and services offering companionship and care to those with dementia.

Supporting those in need is a core value of Viaro and we are proud to be able to share just a few of the organisations we have worked with this year:

Middlefield Community Project – Youth Flat

The Middlefield Community Project’s Youth Flat is a safe haven for young people aged 11 to 25. This vibrant space offers activities like cooking lessons, pool, computer access, and arts and crafts. It also provides vital services like CV assistance, helping young people develop essential life skills.

Kayleigh’s Wee Stars

Kayleigh’s Wee Stars provides financial support to families with terminally ill children. To date, over 700 families have been supported and over £1million paid out in grants.

The Living Well Project

The Living Well Project aims to improve the physical, emotional and social wellbeing for the lonely and isolated and also for those living with dementia, and their carers. Their Befriending Service and Dementia Cafés provide companionship and care, helping to improve the quality of life for participants and their families.

Holborn Community Project

The Holborn Community Project provides a range of social activities for the local community in Holborn, with the aim of enhancing social well-being and encouraging a thriving, vibrant and inclusive community space. Their daily lunch club for those over 55 provides a space for seniors to socialise, make new friends, and learn new skills.

Camphill School Aberdeen

Camphill School Aberdeen, an independent charity, supports children and young people, many with additional support needs, to reach their fullest potential. They are committed to creating a community where children and young people feel a sense of belonging and support and have the opportunity for personal growth.
