Viaro Energy is proud to announce that Dave Koon Koon has been promoted to General Counsel in January 2025. Previously, Dave served as the group’s senior legal counsel since January 2022.
Dave has over 15 years of experience in the legal profession, 11 of which he has spent in the UK North Sea and international oil & gas industry.
Following 4 years in private practice, Dave was appointed as legal counsel with Idemitsu Petroleum UK Ltd in 2013 and stayed on in the same role at RockRose Energy after it acquired Idemitsu Petroleum UK in 2017.
Dave also previously held the role of company secretary with Idemitsu Petroleum UK from April 2015 to April 2017.
