Volunteering at WWT London Wetland Centre

The London WWT Centre is a nature reserve dedicated to the conservation, restoration and creation of wetlands for wildlife, safeguarding endangered species, preserving biodiversity and also educating visitors.

Our team worked on clearing the reeds around the river beds, which will contribute to the conservation of the wetlands and support the nearby ecosystems. It was a valuable experience, and our team learnt a lot about the impact of wetlands on climate change as well as the people and wildlife within the reserve.
